Experience Credit Military


ACE (the American Council on Education) determines the credit for the military service.

Schools following the guidelines of the ACE will grant credit for military service in a lot of ways comprising, but not restricted to:

  • School of Infantry
  • Basic Training (Boot Camp)
  • Military Specialty Occupational School
  • CLEP /DANTES (FREE FOR Active Member in Military)
  • Correspondence courses (USMC: MCI, and etc)

ACE has put the online military guide at www.acenet.edu/clll/military/index.cfm at which you are able to inspect your own experience in military. You can also visit www.acenet.edu/clll/military/index.cfm for obtaining an overview of the whole credit for military service; moreover, you can get links to all branches of Military Services. You can obtain almost the same credit for experience in military at every Big 3 college.

If you’ve military experience, it is suggested that you obtain military transcripts.
